Learn what passes and discounted fares CATA offers, and where you can get them.
CATA offers several types of Adult, Student, and Value passes:
- 10 one-way rides whenever needed - $10 Adult, $6 Student and Value
- 31-Day - unlimited rides for 31-consecutive days - $35 Adult, $18 Student and Value
- Student Semester - unlimited rides for an entire semester - $50 per semester
Student and Value passes are sold at a discounted rate. Medicare cardholders, seniors, and persons with disabilities qualify for Value passes.
Discount ID Cards
Visit this link to download a CATAClub application, to receive a free CATAClub annual, or lifetime pass if you have a disability or are a senior.
FREE CATA Student ID cards are available at CATA, or from school administration offices for middle and high school students.
Or you can show the driver your valid school-issued ID, Medicare, or Americans with Disabilities (ADA) card to ride at the discounted rate.
Veteran Free Fare
Veterans from all U.S. Armed Forces and Reserves ride free every day on all CATA services when one of the following is presented upon boarding:
- Valid U.S. Dept. of Defense ID
- Valid U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs ID
- Valid DD 214 form
- Valid driver's license or state ID with Veteran designation
- Valid Veteran bus pass
Veteran Bus Pass
CATA’s Veteran pass is free to veterans. The pass, valid for up to 10 years, is accepted on all CATA services for unlimited rides year-round. Visit one of CATA’s three facilities listed below to obtain a pass. The Veteran pass is not available online. A valid form of ID (listed above) will need to be presented.
