How much does it cost to ride CATA?
If you’re paying with cash, the regular one-way fare is $1.25. Tokens can be purchased in advance for $1.25 each or $10 for a 10-pack
The discounted one-way cash fare of 60 cents applies to:
- Medicare cardholders
- seniors age 62 and older with valid CATAClub card
- persons with disabilities with valid CATAClub or ADA card
- students with valid college or CATA Student ID
Children under 42” tall ride for free when accompanied by an adult.
Veterans
Veterans from all U.S. Armed Forces and Reserves ride free every day on all CATA services when one of the following is presented upon boarding:
- Valid U.S. Dept. of Defense ID
- Valid U.S. Dept. of Veterans Affairs ID
- Valid DD 214 form
- Valid driver's license or state ID with Veteran designation
- Valid Veteran bus pass
MSU Routes 30-39 operate fare-free during fall and spring semesters.
